With the home series was tied going into Pineapple Smash, tensions were high.  The Deathrow Dolls were down Ophelia Johnson and Ripper Limbsov but added the rockin' blocker LuEvil SlugHer to the mix.  Chanel Cartel's Yoshi Twisted was out with an injury, but they brought in new jammer Rosie Palmr and blocker Moustache Rider to the squad.

Chanel Cartel used their versatilty to pull ahead 79 to 43 in the first half. 6 of their 10 players jammed. Their blockers were able to close off the Deathrow Dolls' pathways and I'll Bruisa Peach held the back line.

 The Deathrow Dolls came from behind in the second half though. The wardin's tranquilizers wore off on Urk'n Jerk'n which allowed her to score a whopping 63 pts!! The deathrow dolls were able to snag a 141 to 124 victory and take the home series lead.

Deathrow Dolls' top jammers were Urk'n Jerk'n with 78 points and Skater Bater with 39 points. Penalty leaders for the dolls were Laura Mangles Wilder(16 pens) and Jumpin Cholla(13 pens)

Chanel Cartel's top jammers were Bullet Bourbon Betty with 58 points and Buster Hiney with 19 points. Penalty leaders for the Cartel were Bullet Bourbon Betty(14 pens) and Coco She'll Nail Ya(16 pens).

The next battle between our home teams will be the black and blue ball  October 25th, but don't fret derby fans. Your Kung FU donnas are scheduled to battle Salt Lake and Pikes Peak this summer.  Check back for details!!!
